Troy Development LLC and Brase Construction have begun the
renovation of the Horizon Hotel on bluffs above the
Collinsville Crossings retail development. This hotel,
built in the early 1970's, has been home to several
restaurants over the years, including the extremely popular
Sonny & Chars, and most recently the Sky Bar and
Restaurant.
The project will take place in three phases. The first
phase will include the renovation of the restaurant areas
of the building into office space. The second phase will be
the renovation of the southern wing of condos. Final phase
will be the renovation of the western wing. During the
renovation of the wings of the hotel an additional floor
will be added to each wing, accomodating two penthouse
units per wing.
